I participated in the Best of Bhutan tour by World Tour Plan with a one day add on. I have visited 165 countries and have looked forward to visiting Bhutan and was not disappointed. It was a beautiful country, my favorite so far, and the itinerary was excellent as were the selected hotels. Most significantly, my guide, Tenzin, and my driver were superb. Their English was excellent and they were fun, flexible and knowledgeable. I can not recommend them more highly.

The hike to the Tiger's nest and the views through the rhododendron forests to the monastery were stunning. I enjoyed the luxury of travelling alone and not having to pay a single supplement. I could ask the driver to stop whenever I wanted to take photos and add a few stops at places I'd read about. World Tour Plan is a well-equipped company and professional in their service, we didn’t regret booking this tour with them.

Thrilling experience in Bhutan

It was a 6 days trip.Sunita was my guide.She was very friendly,kind&courteous.It was an amazing trip&very well organised by World Tour Plan. Bhutan has so much to offer: breathtaking scenery, peaceful monasteries/temples, beautiful fortresses, friendliest people, history, and unique food. Outstanding family vacation

We had the best trip to Bhutan and our guide Tashi was wonderful. My wife, daughters (9 and 11 years old) and I saw so much of Bhutan in four days and enjoyed every minute of it from the Tiger's Nest to the Dzong in Punakha. We cannot recommend World Tour Plan enough and will DEFINITELY go through them when we come back to Bhutan and when we visit India in the future. We were treated so well and the entire trip was fun, informative and safe. Thank you World Tour Plan and Tashi. Oh, and our driver. He was steady behind the wheel and super helpful. Both were great with the kids as well. When our flight was delayed, Tashi figured out a way to squeeze in extra things here and there. When my 11 year old got sick, Tashi and our driver were very helpful to the point of the driver taking her clothes into Paro to get washed dried while we were up at the Tiger's Nest.

Excellent tour!!!

We are back after two long week tour. Everything was way more than what we expected. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and driver was experience at his service. We being very particular about food, we were taken to restaurant which suits our taste and ofcourse, food was taken care by us. We had a nice wonderful holiday to be precise experience for a life time. Point to note: if you are planning to visit in and around January, make sure to carry more warm clothes,hat, socks and the last two to three pair of shoes. Weather seems unpredictable.

Best tour operator in Bhutan

It was a great experience travelling to Bhutan. Moreover the facilities provided by the company was excellent. The guide and the driver who came for the airport pickup was humble and had very good work ethics.They accompanied me throughout my tour in Bhutan. The hotel i halted,had best hospitality. The places i visited were very beautiful, rich in natural resources. The valleys, mountains and the rivers were breathtaking . The company had planned my visit very wisely. I got to see different ethnic group of Bhutanese people , who were very down to earth. Our trip to eastern Bhutan was awesome! The world tour plan company did a great job tailoring the itinerary to us with seamless service. We did not have any issues with travel logistics. The travel company set us up with great tour guides, hotels, villas, and transfers were easy wherever we were. Tiger monastery is in Paro Taktsang is a place which is so beautiful. You can easily trek or can hire donkey to reach the place. But if you want to ride through a donkey remember always reach there very early part of the morning hire donkey by bargaining and fixed the rate first.

Highly recommended tour

My 5 day trip to Bhutan was exceptional. I ended up having a personal tour, just me plus my guide and driver. Everything was customised to my needs, my guide called ahead to ensure all of my meals were aligned with my specific dietary requirements at hotels, restaurants and a farm house. The hotels were fabulous, with friendly staff that would do anything to help. The many sights around Bhutan were incredible, and my guide was very patient/helpful as we tackled the Tigers Nest on my last day - a combination of an injured knee plus difficulty with altitude meant I needed to take things very slow, with plenty of stops - but we made it, and so worthwhile, a real'must do' activity. Kinley (guide) and Kim (driver) were great- very informative and entertaining. I highly recommend this trip...

Amazing custom tour of Bhutan !

I just came back from an amazing 6-day, 5-night customized tour of Bhutan organized by World Tour Plan and led by my incredible tour guide, Tashi. I had an incredibly memorable trip and cannot recommend it more highly.

Amazing trip on the Kingdom in the Clouds-Walking Holidays

We loved our tour; Kingdom in the Clouds-Walking Holidays with World Tour Plan. Our private guide & driver, Singgay & Nyamgay, were exceptional. They were knowledgeable, friendly and fun to spend time with. They were also flexible with our plans. It was nice to spend as much or as little time as we wanted at sites and they were quick to come up with alternatives when the weather changed or we got behind in the schedule. They even switched hotels at the last minute when they found out the hotel did not give us the view rooms they had requested. We enjoyed hiking 8 out of the 11 days instead of spending time in a bus or driving through the country. The tour also includes glamping above Tiger's Nest. Hiking down to Tiger's Nest gave us a unique view of the temples. It also meant we did not have to hike up to Tiger's Nest with the hoards of tourists. Instead we had a peaceful walk through the woods and past small monasteries on the way to Tiger's Nest. I can't recommend this tour & tour company enough.

I have visited many countries so far, but Bhutan's landscapes, buildings, and above all, its gentle people, left a strong impression on me.I learned a lot thanks to the experienced and knowledgeable guides.The mountain pass has a series of hairpin curves. The driver was an experienced driver, so I had a great time. Thank you for the wonderful tour, so much so that I decided to return to Bhutan again before the end of the trip.

Best Travel Agent in Bhutan

For sure Bhutan is one of my favourite countries, The scenery in Bhutan is splendid, with greens, peace, and culturally rooted places. I have come across the most amazing and humble people in Bhutan who made me feel so welcome and it’s quite clean and pretty safe for solo travelers. I enjoyed the taksang trekking and the amazing view of Phunaka Valley. The architecture is so unique and one of a kind. And this was all possible because of the @worldtourplan , who made my stay enjoyable. Also, I had my stay at Numinous hotel, since the day I arrived the staff hospitality had my attention and I really appreciate it, the hotel is pretty hygienic and the food is far better than other 5 stars hotels.

Kindness above and beyond

I haven’t had the chance to see Bhutan (yet) but when I do World Tour plan gets a nod. I had a different kind of experience with them. I was worried about a friend of mine who was traveling in Bhutan and then went off the grid for a week. I searched a location tag on a photo my friend posted and it linked me to World Tour Plan. I called and Mr. Karma who runs the org took my call and connected on WhatsApp. I told him my concerns, gave him my friend’s name, and he said that he wasn’t registered with World Tour Plan because he didn’t go with them. I thought that was it and he’d say, “Have a nice day,” and move on with his day. Instead no, he took as many details as I could gather and over the next 3-4 days assisted me, following up with the Bhutan Tourism Council on the ground while I called frantically to every embassy/consulate of my dual-citizen friend that covered Bhutan and neighboring countries and to Bhutan Tourism myself and reached out to his family at home. Eventually, my friend reemerged from the mountains and around the same time I heard from him, I heard from Mr. Karma who had found and secured my friend’s record of entry into Bhutan, passport details, and latest registration location in the country. Meanwhile, no embassy or authority offered help, follow-up, or any road to a solution. I was relieved my friend was OK and while the response (or lack of response) from the embassies, consulates, and authorities, was disheartening, it was encouraging to know that Mr. Karma did stick with me through all the days and intended to do so until I found my friend. Thank you very much Mr. Karma and I hope to get a chance to meet you sometime. I can’t express what that meant. All the best to you and World Tour Plan!

Bhutan- what an experience!

We were recommended World Tour Plan as a tour operator that would be able to work with us to provide an in depth and 'locals" perspective on Bhutan.At every level that proved to be true.The design of our itinerary including our stopover in Kathmandu was handled by email with courtesy and efficiency as were our visas and air bookings.A change to the itinerary was recommended due to weather concerns and again this was dealt with efficiently and the alternative recommended was well chosen.Our guide and driver were so outstanding that we actually miss them a month later :-).The standard of the hotels provided were excellent.Also whilst we travelled and the guide got to know our preferences they actually amended our itinerary to ensure that it exceeded our expectations. Finally, to ensure that we were happy with our arrangements-the owners themselves sought us out for direct feedback.

Superb service of World Tour Plan

May of 2015, I visited Bhutan. Organized by the owner Of " Bhutan World Tour. " Sunita Suba " On my arrival at Paro Airport. I was met by 2 young men. One my guide & the other my driver. From the moment I met them both, I felt very comfortable with both of them. They processed all my luggage through customs. The drive from Paro Airport to the Main City of Thimpu, took about 1&1/2 hours. Through some of the most beautiful Views of Bhutan. On my arrival In Thimpu I found It to be a beautiful City. My hotel at first did not work out for me as there were stairs to climb & I am Disabled. On finding this out Sunita came the next day and transferred me to a First Class Hotel " The Norbuling. " They had a Elevator. The hotel was First Class. The food was excellent. The staff were wonderful. I had several Business meetings to do with in Thimpu, but I got to visit the Beautiful Point. Outstanding looking out over the Country. I also visited the Soccer Stadium, and the beautiful Gardens In Thimpu. I also visited the Local hospital to see a friend. I was surprised by the Standard . Similar to the standard in the west. I am looking for ward to retrurning to Bhutan in 2016. World Tour Bhutan, will be my choice once again, as Sunita Subba, Fulfilled all of my Requests. She did a First Class Job. The people of Bhutan were also so Hospitable. Blessings to all of Bhutan & your King & Queen & Royal Family

Best three weeks we have ever had!

My wife and I went on an 18 day tour, and were picked up at the airport by a guide and a driver, both organized by World Tour. The guide (Chencho) and driver (Ramesh) were very knowledgeable and had an excellent understanding of the country. Because our trip involved traversing the entire breadth of the country - twice, planning and spacing the activities and hikes were important. I must say that Sunitha and her tours company - World Tour Plan, did an exceptional job at this. We were granted rare access to certain areas and both the agency and the guide were flexible with impromptu modifications in the itinerary. By taking this tour with them as our first visit to Bhutan, I think that they have endeared us to the country and its people, and have us as friends for life. Both my wife and I will definitely go back to Bhutan, and the next time, there's no need for us to search for an agency to facilitate the trip. It will certainly be world tour plan. I would recommend that the trip be taken in mid Sep, because it's the beginning of the tourist season, so there are lesser crowds in the West of the country. We flew in from Delhi (we live in Canada), to Thimphu, via Katmandu, and returned back to Delhi.

Excellent guiding for shurt Bhutan trip

I had the chance to experience Bhutan after a trip to India. Most travelers to Bhutan spend over a week, and I would recommend that for this beautiful country. I only had 3 nights and 4 days, but that was better than nothing! I found the company through a consolidator, but you might see about booking directly. WTP did a great job maximizing my time in Bhutan. We did the hike to the tigress nest, visited Paro and Thimphu and the sites in each. The guide was excellent and I had a private driver as well. He was very patient with me as I lumbered up the mountain to the tigress nest, and provided great insight on the areas culture, the sights, etc. The company had a very well thought out itinerary which maximized my time the company boss even followed up for personal feedback.

My partner and I took a trip with World Tour Plan November 2024, it was a 5 day/4 Night Best of Bhutan tour. Everything from start to finish was beautiful, Mr Karma was great to deal with during the reservation and pre-trip process, very responsive despite the time zones and willing to help with questions. Payment was easy and set up online. Visas delivered with ease. On arrival in Paro, our AMAZING guide Tshering and trusty driver were waiting for us. From the moment we met both Eric and I felt at ease that we would be taken care of. She was truly the most patient, kind, and knowledgeable guide I have come across in my lifetime. Truly blessed to have met her. Accommodations and food all acceptable, particularly in Thimphu at the Numinous Hotel. Staff was very polite and attentive. If I have one tip, I would say extend at least one more day, as the one day driving from Thimphu to Punakha and back to Paro was a long one, but we did have a nice walk in the country side along the way. This was no fault to the tour operator and itinerary was requested by us. One additional day would facilitate an overnight in Punakha to break up the day. Thank you again for the amazing experience in one of the most magical places on earth, and the memories made.

Memorable Trip to Bhutan

My wife and I just came back yesterday from a 5 day trip to Bhutan which was very well planned and implemented by 'World tour plan'. We got married recently and this is our second trip together as newly weds. We are so glad we chose them to guide us through our whole trip. They made sure we were very comfortable and happy. We wouldn't change a thing even if we had the chance , it was that perfect. The land of Dragons

an experience to remember and a second visit, with a longer stay, is definitely in my plans for the future. Even thou every stop was arranged in advanced, in terms of accommodation and meals, in my 6 days visit the World Tour Plan travel agency allowed flexibility about the things to visit or places to spend the night (i preferred one more night in Paro instead of Thimphu).

Bhutan is a Peaceful and carbon negative country in the world. Though the country is small but rich in biodiversity. I would suggest You all to visit Bhutan once in life time. The cultures and tradition are well maintained. The beauty of nature and i really love this country.

Unique and wonderful experience

I fell in love with Bhutan while doing the Laya - Gasa trek, which is magnificent, challenging, and just a lot of fun. The landscapes in Bhutan are absolutely stunning, the history and culture fascinating, and the people incredibly generous. Life above the treeline is extraordinary. And World Tour Plan were an outstanding partner for this trip. From planning days with Mr Karma to enjoying the trek guided by Chencho Dorji and being carefully looked after by the crew Leki and Tshewang (their food is amazing!) - everything was smooth and well organised. The World Tour Plan team were always responsive and accommodating. They went above and beyond. And I am already planning my next Bhutan trek with them...

Greast Three day experience in Bhutan. I wish I could have stayed longer

Wonderful experience!! I only spent three days traveling solo in Bhutan but it was so much worth it! The places and sights I wanted to visit and see, from Tashichho Dzong to Paro Takstang and even more were all squeezed in such a short period despite the distance of locations! My highly knowledgeable tour guide Mr. Tashi Norbu and the careful driver were very friendly. Food at the selected restaurants and hotels was great, though I hope to have a bigger stomach so I could have finished all the very hefty servings! The staff at the hotels where I stayed were very accommodating. Rooms were very clean and tidy too. I wish I could have stayed longer, but it just means I'll be coming back! Great well organized tour

My friend and I booked a private tour through World Tour Plan this past October. Prior to arriving, we were provided with everything we needed to prepare for our trip. We were met at the airport by our private driver and guide. Our guide (Chencho) was extremely knowledgeable about Bhutan and Buddhism and passionate about his job. I highly recommend telling your guide you only want to eat vegetarian local food, not western food. Our guide was great at providing us with the best authentic food. The few times we had western food it was really bad because they just don’t know how to cook it. We hit all the key sites along the way, without having too much site overload. All in all a great well organized trip. The country is beautiful and so are the people.

Best Travel agent in Bhutan

The trip was amazing from start to finish. The guide was super-knowledgable about the landscapes, the histories, and especially the Buddhist monasteries and castles we visited and the paintings inside them. Tenzin was kind, patient, and welcoming, and the driver, Namgay, was sweet, kind, and an excellent driver. Seriously, every day was a high point on the trip: the hike through the forest to the monastery in Thimphu and meditating while the monks chanted, the visit to the textile museum (I'm a textile artist), a conversation with a graduate from the Traditional Medicine Faculty, the visit to the temple of the Divine Mad Man and hearing the ancient stories from the young monks staying there, and the hike up to the Tiger's Nest and having the chance to meditate there. Everywhere we drove was like a snapshot out of National Geographic magazine. The hotels were lovely too, with amazing views over rice fields and mountains. I'm celiac (I can't eat gluten or any milk products) and the guide,Tenzin, coordinated with hotel chefs and restaurants everywhere we went to make sure I could eat. I'm extremely grateful for all the delicious meals he arranged. It can be a big pain in the a** to find gluten-free, dairy-free food in many places in the world, and I feel very fortunate. I ate like a queen on this tour. I didn't plan on visiting Bhutan...I was actually traveling in India, China, and Nepal, and an immigration officer told me I MUST visit Bhutan; it's beautiful, she said, you cannot miss this opportunity. I'm with her. I highly recommend "Best of Bhutan." Their tour was the highlight of my trip to the Himalayas.

Experience of a life time

My Father and I travelled through Bhutan with our knowledgeable guide, Dorji, and our great driver, Bense, both warm and friendly from the moment we met them. As well as being fantastic at their jobs, they went over and above in helping us while we were in Bhutan. If you book with World Tour Plan, you won't be disappointed asking for these two! World Tour Plan was a very easy company to work with, they responded quickly to emails and were courteous and helpful when adjusting plans. The entire tour ran smoothly and was extremely enjoyable. The accommodation that had been organised was great and all the people we met were amazing. We certainly saw some of the highlights of Bhutan and felt that the tour was good value overall, considering it was all-inclusive. Amazing Nepal Trip by World Tour Plan

Recently, two of my friends from Australia came to Bhutan for 7 days authentic Bhutan tour. Their tour was organised by World Tour Plan . And while returning from Bhutan, we joined them to Nepal tour organise by World Tour Plan . Happy to say that the package they offer us was 9 days very reasonable package .We enjoyed our trip there with our friends alot. We visited Nagar kot, Thamel, Chitwan and Pokhara.we did lots of shopping, tried local food and watched movie at local theatre. We would definitely recommend World Tour Plan to our friends and family. Thank you World Tour Plan team for making our tour easy and memorable one.

Culture, history, nature, people... Very interesting country to visit. Keep open mind and make sure talk to the locals, you will experience a completely different life on the other side of the World. Worth the trip!

Excellent service and great people

I worked with World Tour Plan for our trip to Bhutan and Mr. Karma did a great job of scheduling and advising thru out the planning including our Bhutan visa, airlines ticket, and detail itinerary for every day during our visit. During our trip, we had two great people with us (Dorji and Benjay) as a guide and driver and they were really outstanding thruout the trip. They have excellent knowledge of the country and the history/background and were very informative. They were also very friendly, flexible, and helpful thru out the trip. Druk Trek

My family booked the 5 day/4 night Druk Trek through world tours. Our tour guide was Sangay Wangdi, who couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The first day of the trek I became sick and Sangay arranged everything from getting me to the hospital to diverting our trek so that we could still complete it. The trek itself was amazing and so so beautiful from the majestic mountains to the serene Dzongs (temples). You felt like you walked into another time away from the Western world and into a world of peace and serenity. You need to be in reasonable shape, but there is plenty of time to rest if you need to. Sangay and his team would get up at dawn and have a wonderfully cooked breakfast waiting for us. Break time during the trek would be tea with another amazing lunch. When we reached campsite our tents would be ready. Inside would be a bed role with a rug on top, our sleeping bags, pillow and blanket. Sangay's brother, Sono, would cook yet again another amazing meal all by hand. For example one dinner was soup, salad, hand-made spring rolls, fresh veggies, egg curry (YUM!!) and always rice. My family personally preferred the vegetarian options (they do have to carry all the food in on a horse). It is cold up there and very high up so bring a raincoat, jacket, hat, altitude sickness pills and Imodium. We also brought a solar recharger for our phones. Don't want to miss those photo ops.

Beautiful time, very flexible program

Thanks to World Tour Plan I will remember my visit in Bhutan for a very long time. My trip was prepared very professionally. At my request we modified original plan so I could enjoy everyday trekking. Owner of the agency personally checked and selected hotel rooms in which I stayed. Very well informed tour guide broadened my knowledge about this part of the world and careful driver provided sense of security on the roads, which you need so much if you've just arrived from Nepal :)

Amazing tour of Bhutan!!!

We just completed an 11-day tour of Bhutan with World Tour Plan, guided by Chencho Vajra and driven by Sangay. It was an absolutely incredible tour...can't speak highly enough of this company and Chencho and Sangay personally. Lovely guys who were incredibly knowledgeable about Bhutanese culture and history.
